An English-language public transport journey planner has been released as part of a major overhaul of the high-volume website for all public transport in The Netherlands, www.9292ov.nl.
With this door-to-door journey planner, tourists and business travellers can prepare their trips and find their way in The Netherlands by all means of public transport. This year, 9292 (REISinformatiegroep B.V.), a joint initiative from all public transport companies, published more than 100 Million travel itineraries and is still growing rapidly.
The English journey planner is accessible through a simple British banner placed on the top edge of the Dutch homepage. The English journey planner can also directly be accessed through http://journeyplanner.9292.nl. The site now offers door-to-door travel itineraries with all means of public transport in The Netherlands. The site will be in the future extended with price information, information on train and bus stations, alert functions, and actual information.
