Tourist ticket

It’s easy for tourists to travel with public transport in and around Amsterdam. You can simply buy a tourist ticket.

With this 'Amsterdam & Region Day Ticket' you can travel in and around Amsterdam for 24 hours with GVB, Connexxion and EBS. The ticket costs  € 18,50 ( 2 days € 26,00 3 days € 33,50) and can be bought at OV (public transport) centres, VVV (tourist information) offices in Amsterdam, bookshops (AKO) and camping sites and hotels outside Amsterdam.


You can also pay for your journey by OV-chipkaart. We advice tourists to use an anonymous OV-chipkaart, which can be purchased for € 7.50 from any station, from any kiosk at a station, and from many supermarkets. You can then use the card immediately.
